Gent’s stainless steel watches

Sheffield Jewellers was established circa 1850 by George and Margaret Sheffield who came to Athlone from the U.K.

George Jnr. took over the helm in 2005, having gained experience working at Boodles in Manchester and Regent St., London, as well as many years in the family business.

George is the fifth generation of the Sheffield family in the business and is carrying on a fine tradition since 1850.

February 2008 saw the shop undergo a total refurbishment. Today we stock a wide range of watches, diamond engagement rings, diamond jewellery, wedding rings, pearls and silver jewellery. We have a discreet ring room where customers can choose their special pieces of jewellery in private.

Our in-house Horologist, Caroline, carries out all watch repairs from our new workshop. We welcome all enquiries and our excellent sales assistants Olive and Marella will be delighted to help you choose that perfect gift of diamonds, watches or jewellery.
